Commander Tiwari stressed that the NDRF prioritizes safety with strict protocols. Each team member is equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe zones and escape routes are marked before operations begin.

As of April 2, India has sent 625 metric tonnes of relief supplies, including food, medical kits, tents, and essential goods.
