Global Demand: The general demand for gold and silver around the world has much to do with the change in prices.

Currency Fluctuations: The value of the US dollar compared to other currencies will determine whether or not the dollar is an attractive investment tool when compared to gold and silver.

Interest Rates: Higher interest rates make gold and silver less appealing as investments because they generate no interest income.

Government Regulation: Government rules and regulations governing gold and silver businesses will directly or indirectly impact their prices.

International Affairs: Political conditions and worldwide factors in a country could alter the demand of and even increase the prices for precious metals.

Observations by Jewellery Merchants

Jewelers, as experts in the precious metals industry, can provide valuable insights into market trends and potential price movements. They often observe consumer behavior firsthand and can offer perspectives on demand patterns, especially during festive seasons and weddings, which are significant drivers of gold purchases in India.
