After he was arrested by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on suspicion of repeatedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, actor Nick Pasqual is now facing serious charges. Attempting to kill someone, wounding a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or parent of a child, and first-degree domestic burglary with a person present are among the allegations. Pasqual can receive a life term in prison if found guilty on all counts. Although the DA’s office has not yet released the victim’s identity, Entertainment Tonight has revealed that Pasqual reportedly stabbed Allie Shehorn, a makeup artist.
Given the extent of Shehorn’s injuries, a GoFundMe effort was started to help with her medical bills. In the wee hours of May 23, Pasqual reportedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Los Angeles house and repeatedly stabbed her. Shehorn was critically hurt and sent to the hospital; she had just received a restraining order against Pasqual. Shehorn was described as “fighting for her life” on the GoFundMe page, which also disclosed the full extent of her injuries, which included wounds to her neck and damaged tendons in her arm.
She spent several days in the intensive care unit and had multiple procedures. After the incident, Pasqual allegedly left the city, but an arrest warrant was issued, and he was eventually caught at a Texas border checkpoint between the United States and Mexico. An arraignment date has not yet been set, but he will be extradited back to Los Angeles to face charges. The severity of the matter is highlighted by the fact that the Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating the case. The fact that Pasqual and Shehorn have both worked on numerous movies and TV shows gives the situation an additional level of intricacy.
George Gascón, the district attorney, extended his condolences to the victim and underlined the significance of holding offenders of domestic abuse accountable. He promised to use his office’s resources and support to help Shehorn heal from the emotional and physical harm she had suffered.
