Prime Video has just dropped the trailer for its highly anticipated film Agni, a gripping and emotional story about the unsung heroes of our society—firefighters. Produced by Excel Entertainment and directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Rahul Dholakia, this movie is set to be a powerful salute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who risk their lives to protect us. What is Agni About?
Agni is not just another action-packed thriller; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who face danger every day to save lives. Unlike most films that focus on traditional heroes, this one tells the untold story of firefighters. These real-life heroes are often overlooked, but their bravery is unmatched.
The movie explores their emotional and physical struggles as they battle raging fires, rescue lives, and deal with the fallout from disasters. In a world where their sacrifices often go unnoticed, Agni aims to shine a light on their selflessness and dedication.
Meet the Star Cast
The film stars Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu in lead roles. Both actors have taken on challenging characters, each reflecting the tough and emotional world of firefighting. Here’s a look at their thoughts on the project:

Divyenndu, who gained fame for his role in Mirzapur, is stepping into a new world with Agni. “After Mirzapur, Agni feels like coming home, especially with Excel Entertainment. This film means so much to me,” said Divyenndu. His character, a cop, plays a pivotal role in the story, navigating the intense and dangerous situations that firefighters face daily. Divyenndu calls this film a turning point in his career, as it allowed him to showcase new emotional depths and personal sacrifices.
A New Era in Firefighter Cinema
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Agni is the first Hindi film to give such a deep, personal look at firefighters. In his own words, Dholakia shares, “This story goes beyond just battling fires. It’s about showing the emotional journeys of these brave souls. Firefighters risk everything to protect us, and this film is our way of honoring them.”
Unlike typical action films, Agni offers a raw and realistic portrayal of what it means to be a firefighter. It’s not just about fighting flames, but about the personal toll it takes on their lives, their families, and their mental health. The film blends intense action with emotional depth, ensuring it resonates with audiences on a personal level.
