Look Who’s Behind Him”: India Reveals Photo Linking Pakistani Military to Terrorists

Indian Envoy to UK Shares Image Showing Pakistani Officers at Funeral of Slain Terrorists

In a dramatic revelation, India has publicly accused Pakistan of providing state-level support to terrorists, using a photograph as visual proof. The image, displayed by India’s High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, shows Pakistani military officials standing behind a US-designated terrorist at a funeral for slain extremists. India says this is the clearest sign yet that Pakistan is actively supporting terrorism across the border.

The Photo That Sparked Global Attention

What the Picture Shows

Speaking to Sky News, High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami held up a large photo during a press interaction. The image featured Hafiz Abdur Rauf, a US-sanctioned terrorist and brother of Masood Azhar, the founder of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Rauf was seen attending a funeral for terrorists killed in India’s recent Operation Sindoor.

Behind Rauf in the photo were uniformed officers of the Pakistani Army. The coffins of the terrorists were draped in Pakistan’s national flag, symbolizing an official tribute.

“If you’re giving terrorists a state funeral, what does that say about your government?” asked Doraiswami. “This man is a globally sanctioned terrorist, and yet here he is, honored alongside your military.”

 Operation Sindoor: India’s Strong Message

Retaliation After the Pahalgam Attack

This explosive photo release came shortly after India conducted airstrikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These strikes were a direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 Indian civilians.

Key Target: Jaish-e-Mohammed Headquarters

One of the main targets of the airstrikes was the JeM headquarters in Bahawalpur, a city in Pakistan’s Punjab province. This location has long been identified by Indian intelligence as a base of terrorist planning and recruitment.

In a separate online graphic, the BJP released an image of Abdul Rauf Azhar, another brother of Masood Azhar and a top JeM commander, with the word “Eliminated” written over his face. The message was clear: India was taking justice into its own hands.

 Who Is Abdul Rauf Azhar

A History of Terrorism

Abdul Rauf Azhar isn’t a new name for Indian security agencies. He’s been linked to several high-profile terrorist attacks:

  • 1999: Mastermind of the hijacking of Indian Airlines flight IC-814 to Kandahar

  • 2001: Involved in the attack on the Indian Parliament

  • 2016: Planned the Pathankot Air Force base assault

The IC-814 hijacking forced India to release three terrorists, including Masood Azhar, in exchange for 190 civilian hostages. These figures have since been connected to repeated terror acts in India.

India Says This Isn’t New—Just Finally Caught on Camera

Past Evidence Ignored by Pakistan

Vikram Doraiswami didn’t stop with just the photo. He reminded the global community of India’s long-standing allegations against Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies:

  • In 2016, India allowed Pakistani investigators to visit the Pathankot Air Force Base, hoping for cooperation. But no useful outcome emerged from Pakistan’s side.

  • In the case of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, India gave Pakistan comprehensive evidence, including call records and GPS data. Yet, no significant action was taken by Islamabad. Instead, Indian officials say the evidence was distorted or buried.

“Every time we cooperate, we get betrayal. And now we have pictures proving what we’ve always said,” said Doraiswami.

 Pakistan’s International Image Under Scrutiny

India Questions Credibility of Islamabad’s Investigations

Pakistan has often called for international investigations into terror-related incidents. However, India claims that such requests are hollow, especially when Pakistan’s own military is seen endorsing terrorists.

Doraiswami emphasized that the image shared is not just a diplomatic tool—it’s proof of institutional backing for terrorism. India is pushing for international scrutiny over Pakistan’s alleged double standards.

Global Impact: Will the World Take Actio

US and UK Pressure Could Rise

The United States already designates Hafiz Abdur Rauf as a global terrorist. With India’s fresh photo evidence, pressure may increase on Western allies to hold Pakistan accountable—not just for harboring terrorists but glorifying them.

India’s Strategic Messaging

By releasing the image through a respected international news outlet like Sky News, India is trying to shape global opinion, especially among Western governments and security organizations like Interpol, FATF, and the United Nations.

A Diplomatic Bombshell with Real Consequences

India’s release of a single photo may not seem like much—but in the world of diplomacy and international security, a picture can be more powerful than a thousand pages of intelligence reports.

With this move, New Delhi is clearly saying: “We’re done asking. We’re showing.”

Whether or not the world listens, one thing is certain—India is stepping up its efforts to publicly expose Pakistan’s alleged terror links, and it now has visuals to back its words.
