Bollywood’s favorite Nawab, Saif Ali Khan, once opened up about his quirky interests and hobbies in a conversation that left everyone laughing. From his love for Western poetry to target shooting, here’s a peek into Saif’s unexpected passions.

Saif Ali Khan Reveals His Hobbies in Hilarious Interview Moment

Saif Ali Khan, known for his versatile roles in films like Devara: Part 1, has always been candid about his life outside of acting. Recently, an old interview clip resurfaced, where the actor amusingly opened up about his interests—some surprising, some quirky—that showed a side of him many fans hadn’t seen before. The clip, which had fans cracking up, saw Saif talking about everything from Western poetry to target shooting.

The actor’s self-deprecating humor and candidness have always been a part of his charm, and this interview was no different. He humorously revealed the different things that keep him occupied when he’s not on set, giving fans a glimpse into his personal world.

Western Poetry and the Influence of Family: Saif’s Hilarious Take on Literature

Saif began by sharing his early exposure to literature, particularly poetry. “Faiz and Ghalib,” he said, referring to the legendary poets Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Mirza Ghalib. But then, in typical Saif Ali Khan fashion, he added with a chuckle, “No, I am talking rubbish.” He went on to explain how his grandmother and father were avid readers of such poetry, which influenced his own interest in literature. However, Saif admitted with a laugh that Western poetry was more his thing.

He joked, “I have read a lot of Western poetry. Because I was studying there, what could I do?” The actor continued with his usual wit, saying, “But my father says Faiz is a phenomenal poet, and if you go to read, the Quran is also a wonderful poetry.” Saif’s humorous, laid-back approach to serious topics like poetry shows the perfect blend of intellect and charm that his fans adore.

From Guitar to Gaming: Saif’s Unexpected Passions

When it comes to his hobbies, Saif doesn’t just stick to the usual. The actor spoke about his diverse interests, admitting that when he’s not busy shooting, he’s often found indulging in a mix of activities. “I play guitar and music,” he said. “Computer games, surfing the internet, reading books, and watching movies. I go to Bombay Gymkhana. Everything is happening there.”

Saif’s love for a variety of activities makes him seem like a man who enjoys balancing both intellectual and physical challenges. And if that wasn’t enough, the actor revealed his interest in target shooting, a sport that not many fans knew he was passionate about. “In the shooting club, I am very interested in target shooting,” he said, adding that he enjoys it at a club in Worli, Mumbai.

What stood out to fans, however, was Saif’s down-to-earth and honest way of speaking about his interests. He wasn’t afraid to admit he’s into everything from gaming to reading, showing his true, multifaceted personality that fans often find relatable and refreshing.

Saif on Cinema: A Mix of Hollywood Inspiration and Indian Realism

Saif also reflected on his love for cinema and how it has evolved over the years. Like many of his contemporaries, Saif was once inspired by international films, especially classics like The Godfather. “There are a lot of foreign movies I like, like The Godfather,” Saif shared. But then he went on to note how Hollywood and Bollywood films are quite different. “Foreign movies are so different from Hindi movies, there is no point in comparing them,” he explained.

The actor then spoke about his desire to make films like The Godfather but also acknowledged the challenges involved in bringing such a story to Indian cinema. He explained, “There was a time when I used to think that I should make this movie. But I couldn’t make it. Because, in reality, the way heroes speak has changed. Like a normal person speaks on the street.”

Saif’s commentary on the changing style of dialogue in Indian films reflects a broader shift in Bollywood toward more authentic and relatable storytelling. “If your character speaks like that, everyone will listen carefully,” Saif noted. His insight is a nod to how Bollywood films are evolving to include more real, street-smart characters rather than the over-the-top, larger-than-life heroes of the past.

The Changing Landscape of Bollywood Dialogue and Storytelling

Saif also emphasized the importance of well-written scripts in foreign films, which are often a distinguishing feature of successful Hollywood movies. “The special thing about Hollywood movies is that they are well-written. There are different dialogues in every movie,” Saif pointed out. He contrasted this with the style of dialogues that have been used in Indian films for decades.

“There’s a style of dialogue in Hindi films that we’ve been using for years. And that is changing in today’s world,” Saif said. He highlighted that this change in the way characters speak is something that is being appreciated more by audiences today. Whether it’s the shift toward natural, relatable dialogue or the rise of more grounded characters, Saif’s commentary reflects a change in the way Indian cinema is evolving.

Saif Ali Khan: A Man of Many Passions and Perspectives

What makes Saif Ali Khan stand out in the world of Bollywood is not just his acting talent but his ability to be unapologetically himself. His willingness to talk about his love for Western poetry, his interest in guitar playing, and even his passion for target shooting shows that he is far more than just a star on the screen. He’s a man with varied interests and a deep love for learning and experiencing new things.

Saif’s humorous and candid reflections on everything from literature to cinema reveal a man who is both introspective and self-aware. His fans love him for his authenticity, whether he’s cracking a joke about his father’s poetry preferences or discussing his favorite films.

Conclusion: Saif Ali Khan’s Unique Blend of Humor, Talent, and Passion

Saif Ali Khan’s latest interview clip reminds us why he is one of Bollywood’s most beloved and relatable stars. His humor, wit, and genuine passion for a wide range of hobbies—from Western poetry to gaming and target shooting—make him someone his fans can’t help but root for.

Whether he’s discussing cinema, life, or the things that interest him outside of acting, Saif’s candidness and charm continue to win hearts. His ability to balance intellectual interests with a lighthearted sense of humor is what makes him truly special.
